I recently discovered we have a synagogue in town that is among the oldest synagogue buildings still standing in the U.S., having been built in 1877. Lived here all my life and I never knew!
The architecture speaks volumes as to its age and beauty. Really like the color of the building with the pastel stained glass windows. The green shrubs really balance out what would have been a bland shot otherwise. Nice tight shot of the entire building.
What a lovely little temple! None of the pomp and big money influence you see on most of the new churches/temples/synagogues, etc. Just a simple, calm, peaceful little place. Very nice capture!

It's a beautiful building and does look old though I never would have guessed it was built in the 1800's.
