The dramatic sky yesterday served as a prequel to this morning's snow. We were lucky. Our weather has been so warm lately that the snow melted on the streets as soon as it landed but blanketed the grass just long enough to enjoy for a few hours! Then it was gone!

This photo certainly conveys winter's chill with its austere greys.
One of the best things about snow is when it's used in a sentence along with the word 'gone.' It sure is a pretty shot though Kim ... and I'm glad it's 'gone'.
Dear Ansel Adams Jr.,
What a difference between your photos from yesterday and today. Love the black and white trees!
The snow was beautiful while it was there! Funny how nature goes from such vivid colors back to white and gray in a matter of hours - there is beauty in both though!
Too neat and tidy, you must have spent hours in PS airbrushing that, but it does seem cold.
It IS the perfect snow storm - stays just long enough for a photo shoot, then goes away! Great photo. A picture IS worth a thousand words, and that one makes me shiver!
The weather is so crazy this year. It doesn't seem possible that you could have a clear sunset one day and snow in the morning.
The color (or lack of) in this photo makes it for me. I love the lines of the shed in the midst of the trees, too.
It's a perfect shot Kim!
Stunningly Stark. I love it! Glad it snowed enough for you to enjoy it and then watch it go...
You're ENJOYING it??? OMIG!!!
..anyway, that's not snow, psssssh!
Great shot BTW! :)
